Is there anything you can put in the drain pipes to keep the big waterbug roaches from coming in?
Each year around this time and then again before winter I have this problem. I am absolutely terrified of them. I am trying ammonia~full strength at the moment. I do know that the ammonia will kill them right away. I would think that the water would dilute the strength. Can anyone out there help me?

The bugs are coming in from the drains in the master bathroom/bedroom I see them in the tub. Not many usually one or two every other day or so. I live in GA. My home is also 9 yrs old and the backyard is nothing but woods with all sorts of creepy crawlers. I have all the other bugs under control and out of the house.

It is unlikely that the roaches are actually entering your house through the drains. You *are* seeing them there, because they are using the drains as a hiding place and a source of water. However, the only drains roaches normally use to enter homes are those that drain directly outside (like the drain for your air conditioner, or maybe the floor drain in your bathroom or kitchen). Can a home built over a an underground spring be made waterproof?
My grandpa lives in an older home in the country. In the basement he has a pump running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If it did not run, his basement would fill up with water. He says house is built over an underground spring. Is there any way a company could come in and stop this water from coming into basement? It comes through the floor and one wall.

sounds like you have one of the newer flushers, a brief hold down to wash out the urine, and a hold down for a complete flush. but more water in the tank should help, bend up the floater until you get your desired affect.

How do you clean up the inside mushy pellets from a baby diaper off of the carpet?
